How to tell if you have a PocketPC 2000/2002 device:

1. Tap the Start menu
2. Select “Settings”
3. Select the “System” tab on the bottom of the screen
4. Tap “About”
5. If your system version is less than 4.2, then you have a PocketPC 2000 or 2002 device.

How to tell if you have a PocketPC 2003 device:

1. Tap the Start menu
2. Select “Settings”
3. Select the “System” tab on the bottom of the screen
4. Tap “About”
5. If your system version is 4.2 or the copyright date runs through 2003, then you have a PocketPC 2003 device.
